ps2 version has several different levels, each one having a "goal" size to hit in the time limit

if I remember, there was a bronze, silver, and gold award based on your size (i'm sure all golds is an acheivement)

In the beginning, you'll never be big enough to pick up people or anything like that...you'll be lucky to be able to pick up a small animal

by the end of the game, for the ps2, you were big enough to pick up all land masses, clouds, rainbows...basically the entire world. You would be an enormous ball rolling around on water, because there was nothing left

360 version may have the ability to put you into outer space when you're big enough to pick up the earth...who knows

whats why i say hit or miss. i was using one, router 15 feet away in the same area and it would crap out randomly. just make sure your router doesnt blow.

I have this one and I love it. It has 4 ethernet ports at the back and is pretty robust. I have never had packet loss or even it crash once. Setup is fairly simple.

Now that I look at it, this 360 that I bought 3 days ago was assembled in september of 2006.....does that mean it doesn't have the new cooling system and is going to crap out on me like my roommates 360 just did for the second time? If thats the case this thing is going back first thing monday for a newer one

attn: the darkness. i recognize that it is your name, but could you make it a shade brighter in some areas. i dont enjoy loud gravely voices + replaying the same section a few times cuz i accidentally fall in a pit more than once. it just aint cool.

the hardest part of that game (while playing on hard) was the initial part when you had no powers

I probably died the same amount of times the whole rest of the game that I died in those first 10 minutes, lol

I can't seem to kill the first Big Daddy in Neptunes Bounty. I've played it 100 times and sometimes i just skip over it and go through the door....but then i'm thinking if i want the achievement i need to kill him and save the little sister.

Lure him down to the room with the rocket launcher turret. Once it starts shooting at him, he'll try to wail on it exclusively and leave you free to shoot him with whatever you like.

And i attack him when all those splicers attack him but the closest i got to killing him was 15% or so health

Yeah, I wouldn't bother trying to kill him right off the bat. Go grab some more weapons and hack that rocket launcher first. You get the grenade launcher pretty early on in Neptune's Bounty as well. Explosive shotgun shells work really well too.

yeah, i suggest some machine gun fire alternating with incinerate! at that point. Also a great combo on rosies is electroshock + shock buck.

You are pretty weak when you first get to neptune's bounty so that rosie(s) are the worst to battle along with the bouncer daddy in the medical wing, but you will get very, very strong soon....or rather, you'll have much more resources at your disposal. I'm not too much further (maybe 2-3 hours) but took down a rosie in this onslaught combo in about 10 seconds without dying. It felt so damn cool.

i thought fontaine was the easiest part of the game, i mean i was stockpiled with weapons but i died to big daddies, i didnt die to him, he's easy to avoid his shots and hits...

^ I have and think that its alright too. Its definitely more arcade than simulator. The plot is also dumb as hell and I've never cared for the multiplayer.

I just saw the sequel and got it last night when I was looking for the new Medal of Honor. I honestly thought that there wouldn't be one because reviews for the first were so flat across the board.
