Got another fun one - Warner @ Sea - He is apparently going to be used in goal line situations now, but Seattle is a decent defense and he might still be lacking Boldin and Fitzgerald (Who is on my team too ). OR Garrard @ Car - Only one interception on the season is nice, but as we all know Carolina likes to pull things together at the end of the season, I could see them grabbing a few interceptions.

Hey....got a couple questions for the guru's here....
Peyton Manning or Derek Anderson.....not sure what Raven D will do next week and Cleveland plays at the Jets.
Lee Evans or Mike Furrey (or possibly Justin Gage, Isaac Bruce...not many out there...) I've started Steve Smith every week and will again this week...injuries have hurt me bad this year.
Buffalo, SanDiego, or Ravens..... I picked up Buffalo b/c they were at home against Dolphins.
Thanks for any help in advance. Its been a weird year. I'm 6-7 and a win puts me in with help or in a tie where I need to outscore one or 2 teams.
I've outscored the league twice except for the team I was playing...so 2 losses. I had Steve Smith's situation w/o a QB. Picked up Steven Jackson only to get injured in the 1st qtr. Traded for Manning and he throws 6 INT's that week. Kitna gets a concussion and I lose while having both him and Roy Williams that week. I lose a shootout to a guy with Palmer the week he threw 6 TD's. Raven injuries on Defense. McGahee gets a concussion late in Pitt game...I needed 9 more yards from him. Had both him and Raven D that game. Lost to team with Tom Brady 2 out of 3 weeks, one was when they routed Skins. Another shootout lost when Kurt Warner gets hurt and fumbles on 3rd play of game.
Ok, enough whining, somehow I'm still in it at 6-7. Thanks again for the help! 12/4/2007 10:12:59 PM |

Um...why are you obsessed with 12 year old girls? Perhaps you need some counseling before you end up behind bars. I feel sure if you invested some time and effort, you could actually meet and talk to a girl your own age. Not sure why you have chosen to troll message boards and continue your obsession with preteen chicks. That's just sick dude. 12/5/2007 8:12:38 AM |

Shaun Alexander vs ARI Justin Fargas vs GB Adrian Peterson vs WAS
I'm thinking Alexander and Peterson...but I dunno... 12/5/2007 4:09:26 PM |

I like Alexander and Peterson as well...Fargas has been great lately but Green Bay's defense is pretty good, despite their performance against Dallas...AP is a no brainer
oh you mean AP of the Bears....hmmm...I might go Alexander and Fargas in that case 12/5/2007 4:11:52 PM |

I generally like Fargas better...but GB is tough, and (this is tough and a crappy thing to say about my team but...) the Skins are reeling right now...gave up over 100 yards rushing to the Bills' 3rd stringer last week... 12/5/2007 4:16:56 PM |

1. should i start Bryant Johnson (in place of the injured Boldin)?
2. With Roy Williams out, who is a better pickup: Mike Furrey or Shaun McDonald? 12/5/2007 4:30:34 PM |

Yes, I am going with TreeTwista's advice and going with Evans. Thanks to you too.
I was suggesting Furrey to LapDragon given the choices he gave. Dallas has a tough D but I think Kitna puts it in the air 40+ times this week. 12/5/2007 4:36:27 PM |

Roy Williams' being out for the season should theoretically help the numbers of Furrey, McDonald, Kevin Jones, etc...I'm just not too big on any of them against Dallas 12/5/2007 4:39:20 PM |
varsityblues All American 919 Posts user info edit post |
If Fitzgerald and Boldin are both out, my opinion is to stay away from Cardinals altogether. I actually picked up and played Bryant last week. I would just worry about playing him if he has to be the #1 and gets a lot of the def attention... 12/5/2007 4:39:27 PM |

might as well put my whole lineup
QB: Brett Favre WR: Chad Johnson WR: Andre Johnson RB: Steven Jackson RB: Edgerrin James TE: Kellen Winslow W/R: Jamal Lewis BN: Earnest Graham BN: Kolby Smith BN: Brandon Marshall BN: Dwayne Bowe
K: Jeff Reed
DEF: Green Bay BN: Chicago BN: Baltimore
starters
Would yall do anything different? I think I'm definitely going with S-Jax and Jamal but I'm not sure about Edge/Earnest/Kolby
and yeah yeah yeah i have 3 defenses, but its been helpful...for example I played Chicago last week for 10 points, instead of Green Bay for -2 points

And for ^^ - Kolby is a pretty nice play this weekend too - we've seen what he can do against shitty run d's.

I think you've got to start Kolby Smith. I've got him too and I'm loving him going against that Den run D.
GettinPayed....tough to sit Brady, but I think you've got to go with Romo. Not sure how many your starting at the others, but I'd sit Gore. Got to start A-Pete and LT. For WR's, definitely T.O. and a toss up b/t Wayne/Moss
Good chance BERLIN starts for Rams so I'd have to put Holt 4th in that group... 12/5/2007 7:25:47 PM |

^^Holy shit, don't listen to this fucking idiot. Witten has almost double the fucking points and gets a ton of looks in a prolific offense.
Furrey wouldn't even get a start in a 20 team league. FYI, Roy williams didn't even have more points than Witten going in to the last game.

Dude, seriously, what is your problem? I came on here and asked who to start. Would you like to meet in person and talk some shit? Take your antidepressants and move on.
Witten may be a better play, I don't know. I'd start Furrey. Will probably get more looks with Roy Williams out. He's been #3 WR all year and last year at #2 receiver, I'm pretty sure he caught well over 100 passes. 12/5/2007 9:44:23 PM |
varsityblues All American 919 Posts user info edit post |
Witten had 9 more points than Roy Williams this season so they are basically even. My preference would be to play a WR over a TE if given the chance and its pretty even. 12/5/2007 9:47:23 PM |

so here's my dilemma of sorts-
Do i start Brandon Jacobs of the Giants or Kolby Smith of KC? I have one spot and I'm leaning towards Smith, but still hesitant after last week. Jacobs always produces.
P. Riv - do I bench him now? I can pick up Garrard or Clemens or Cutler. Who should I take for this week's game and the start of my league's playoffs? I can't just bench our biggest hero from State ever. It was hard enough just to drop J.Co this week b/c of his surgery.
Rivers has been killing me all year with his play, but I'm in a good position to make a deep run, if not win it all. So any help for some bragging rights will go beyond being appreciated. 12/6/2007 12:32:15 AM |
dzags18 All American 5694 Posts user info edit post |
^ I think you have to go with Kolby over Jacobs.
And I would pick up Garrard. As much as I love PRiv, hes just not producing consistently for fantasy, and Garrard should do well this weekend. 12/6/2007 12:53:35 AM |
Amk772 Veteran 429 Posts user info edit post |
Has some some one seriously started Mike Furrey over Jason Witten and still made the playoffs? Over 800 yards and 6 TDs for Witten, to Furrey's 500 yards, 1 touchdown, and a spotty QB.

I bet Witten has more fantasy points than Kolby Smith too. I never said to start Furrey in Week 8 over Witten. I said to start him this week because Roy Williams is not playing.
Kolby Smith is a good play because...Larry Johnson is not playing. Furrey may be a good play because he now takes over the #2 receiver position on a team that throws the ball a lot...you see, Roy Williams is not playing.
Think before you type dude. 12/6/2007 11:43:21 AM |

It doesnt take to much thinking to keep Mike Furrey's awful self out of my starting lineup, or anywhere on my team. Look at the stats before you type dude.
I wouldnt start Furrey over Witten if injuries made him the #1 WR in the lions offense. He's just a terrible fantasy receiver.

Well I was dealt P Riv in the draft so why not keep him? I'm not attached to him like my Jets, so its not that hard to part, but I know what you're getting at.
And thats why Smith was on the fence for me, I don't trust KC's line due to their injuries. but Denver is atrocious stopping the run so I guess I'll take my chances! 12/6/2007 4:24:59 PM |

Pick 2:
Graham, McGahee, Henry 12/6/2007 4:29:28 PM |
TreeTwista10 minisoldr 148450 Posts user info edit post |
^tough question
- Henry's suspension got thrown out and he scored 2 TDs last week - Graham has been solid since Cadillac went out 2 months ago; 100+ yards last week and a score - McGahee was great against New England, although I don't think NE's rush defense is nearly as good as their pass defense...up until 2 weeks ago teams HAD to pass on them since they were always down 30 points
I probably go McGahee and Graham but thats what i always like to call "one of those good problems" 12/6/2007 4:51:10 PM |
