But they'd still work better than a pencil

haha you would think that's how it worked. However, i'm really really REALLY bad at buying a pair of shoes and then having to find something to wear with them. I already have one pair that I only kinda have something I can wear them with, but I don't really have a place to go to wear them, and I guess with spring being right around the corner I won't be able to wear them for a while.

really though the ones you posted look like they could go with plenty of outfits

would be fine with jeans or a skirt, IMO.

Oh yeah, I mean for sure something to wear this summer and fall. I have plenty of stuff to go with those, but I mean I'll always take a new outfit too!

I like this whole hippie fad that's going on now. Unfortunately those clothes tend to be loose/shapeless, and me and ambrosia were discussing how you have to be tall and skinny to pull off a maxi dress. I tried this shirt on today but didn't buy it. can't find a picture of the one I bought

^ i know!!! NCSUWolfy posted that question earlier this week, too. And I feel the same way. i am so easily distracted but i do get tired of looking after awhile

i think that is why i've always sucked at being a bargain finder. i always complain that other people are so lucky because they find the best stuff, but really it is probably they have more patience looking than me!

I knew what I was looking for before I went on

I also used the pounce feature, as well as looking for local sellers. Those earrings I got are from someone in Raleigh; I'm meeting her tuesday to pick them up so I don't have to spend money on shipping

I just went into a category, and started surfing, finding sellers whose work I liked; I also did a price sort, and skipped around in that.

for some unknown reason, i have some ungodly obsession with fringe boots

WHY like i don't even think they are cute. well i think they are cute in an ugly way or something. and i really want some. but i feel like i wouldn't wear them if i got them but maybe i would. ugh. i have no idea why i'm so obsessed with them. but day in and day out all i think about are fringe boots. and then this girl i know got some and she wears them with dresses/tunics and leggings and they look supercute and different. and now i'm jealous.

(just an example):

oh and fyi i am also obsessed with minnetonkas so maybe this explains part of it. their moccasins are so cute and comfortable if you didn't already know. i have like 4 pairs. whoops.

yea i think i just like the idea of them they are way too stylish for me in real life.

exhibit A

i don't look like that, i would never wear that outfit, and thus, fringe boots would never work for me

is it bad that i remember the last time they were really in style...

like back in the late 70s/early 80s

for men and women

[Edited on March 2, 2009 at 4:51 PM. Reason : yeah....my legs are too big for them]

no!!! i think that is also why i want them so much...my dumb 70s and 80s style obsessions!

if i could just have a pair to look at and pet i would be happy i think. i'm not cool enough to wear them.

i remember my babysitters had them. they were more of the ankle kind though. oh fringe boots how i love you so.

HAHAHA i can't imagine men wearing them. scary scary times.

YES!! that is exactly what i'm talking about! that is what my babysitters wore. darn it! by the time i got to elementary school fringe boots were outtie (well i mean, for kids in like 2nd grade)

stirrup pants, however, did not fade away fast enough. i think all of mine were also ribbed, which definitely makes me want to vomit. i was so hideous.

I bought one from a seller in Hong Kong about a week ago (off eBay). It comes w/ a matching g-string and it seems to be REALLY good quality. They have amazing feedback. I looked around in Raleigh first and everything seemed too cheap for the price.

I got the corset + matching g-string + shipping and insurance = $23. I'll let you know how it turns out.

seriously!!!! i have 3 pairs of the basic moccasins. 2 regular like this:
(i have light brown and dark brown)

and my FAVORITE pair, a beaded one like this (the blue one!)

they are really comfortable and look tres cute under jeans. i've seen people wear with dresses/skirts, too. but i think that looks weird (at least on me) and with rolled up jeans (and skinny jeans, this looks cute, but i do neither of these fashions). but i usually just put them on under regular jeans.

yea, i'm sure a lot of people don't like them since like no one wears them. i think if i hadn't seen them on someone first, i would think that they were ugly, too. but they're really cute with the right outfit

i guess stuff like this is more my style for everyday than heels.

hard to find good pictures of them under jeans. i tried. i really do think they look better under jeans.

i know! i could see how the picture could make them seem ugly (i mean maybe they are) but i really think they look cute under pants/jeans. i mean you can't go all native american with feather earrings and dream catcher necklaces, but i like them and they are comfy.
