i believe they are referring to near the end when the soldiers were taking Sayid to drop him off... and the guy asked Sayid if he had a wife or children..and he said no... and it showed the american soldier holding a picture of his daughter and it showed the picture...i think they are saying that was kate..
which would make sense since we found out kate's dad was involved in the military in an earlier episode
