cause i got folks at the crib playin it....4 players at once

also i've had my box for like 3 years right...sent it back to MS a couple times...they went me a new power supply but i kept using the old one...so last night my tv and lights flickr and the box gets the circle of doom...then the lights flickr again and the tv again, still circle of doom...i turn off the box and unplug the transformer...plug in the new transformer and it works fine! i thought i was gonna have to send it back again

i would imagine the warranty would still work...i bought it in November 2005 so I should be under warranty for another 15 months

but apparently the transformer (the big ass brick part of the power supply) must have screwed up which allowed the transformer to dictate the amount of power that went to other outlets in the same circuit...glad I was home cause it could've been a fire hazard...I wasn't even playing 360 at the time, I was watching TV...the 360 was just turned on

sometimes the metal contacts that connect the battery to the controller could get dirty...or loose, make sure its snapped in all the way

^^if you can keep your hard drive you can pretty much keep everything...dont even need to "re-download" your achievements as your profile is on your HDD and microsoft tells you not to send that back if your box fucks up

however you are right that you can download your profile if your HDD dies...unfortunately i think you're screwed on any full versions of arcade games you may have bought...although i'm not positive...maybe they have a record and thats stored on your profile too

I know it says 8, but you can actually get 9. they're also running a buy2get1 special on some, but not all of the hddvds.
even though you're getting the 2 free, their checkout system 'sees' that you're buying 2 and zeroes out the 3rd as well.

By the way, I tried the COD4 Multiplayer Beta Last night...

ABSOLUTELY HOT. This game will be huge when it drops I think. Awesome lobby/party system - assemble your friends and you start jumping into games with abandon...the gameplay is ultra smooth, looks great, 60 fps, reminds me of Counter Strike in terms of fluidity.

This year is just unrelenting. It might just go down as one of the best in video games history. Maybe since 1998...when you look at all the releases this year, and this quarter is so damn slammed packed.

cod4 will be where its at, got my beta key too...

my opinion on halo 3...veteran players who are awesome at halo 2 will hate 3...atleast from the beta anyone and everyone could get 20 kills a game, it was so balanced, the smg with one clip could kill someone, stuff like that
