^^ I really don't know. I have to choose between Rodgers, Cassel, Garard, Hasselback and Campbell.
Probably go with Rodgers if healthy or Campbell. Going to wait and see what the experts have to say though. 12/14/2010 12:36:48 PM |

Alright, I'm in the championship game, and the matchup looks pretty bad for me. so need some advice.
Lineup and matchup
my bench:
notable free agents:
K (i see some benefit in swapping out kickers given that the following are available) Jeff Reed @ SD Adam Vinatieri vs. JAC Shaun Suisham vs. NYJ Josh Brown vs. KC
RB (losing frank gore hurts, but pickings are slim on the FA/Waivers) Mike Goodson vs. Ari Javarris James vs. JAC
I think i'm ok at WR and TE.
ARI is available for DST, and they are playing Carolina. Any thoughts on whether that would be better than SD?

Get Mike Goodson and pull Ryan Mathews out of there. Goodson has had solid numbers for the last 6 weeks. Nothing will change against a TERRIBLE Arizona team. 12/14/2010 4:57:38 PM |

God fantasy football has sucked for me this year. Cannot believe won't make the top-4 in any of my leagues. Fuck you Randy Moss, fuck you Shon Greene, and fuck you Matt Schaub.
Let's name some of the biggest fantasy disappointments this season (injuries or not):
1. Randy Moss (again fuck you)
2. Shon Greene
3. Ryan Matthews (#2 and #3 are interchangeable)
4. Ray Rice
5. Matt Schaub
6. Brett Favre
7. Tony Romo
8. Steve Smith (both guys)
9. Overhyped TEs like Jermichael Finley and Shiancoe
10. Kevin Kolb
Who else? 12/14/2010 5:05:08 PM |

I dont think Rice was overhyped...everyone knew he would get a ton of yards but not the goal line carries.
And with injuries...you cant compare/say they are overhyped. Finley was on the road to being a top 5 TE before he got hurt. Romo too...probably would have had a good finish to the year. 12/14/2010 5:55:09 PM |

well. I drafted Randy Moss, Shon Greene, Steve Smith, and Jermichael Finley out of that list. Still managed to get second in the regular season, mostly thanks to Foster, Rodgers, Tamme and any defense playing Arizona. Smartest move I made all season was trading Randy Moss the night Favre's ankle got injured. 12/14/2010 10:33:28 PM |

Ray rice was definitely over hyped. He was ranked 3rd in espn's rankings. I didn't understand it at the time time because he'd split carries, but he was chosen 4th in my league. 12/14/2010 11:28:59 PM |

So I have Baltimores D.
I can pick up Arizona, Carolina and a few more crap ones.
should I drop Baltimore? they play NO and its for the playoffs...or not worry with it?
also...Tolbert or Run DMC and
Orton or Big Ben?

^I picked up the Rams D for the rest of the season since they play KC, SF and SEA the last 3 games. I dropped Gerhart for them, as the Eagles D (who I have started) has been pretty crappy the past 3 games.
I would also go with McFadden, as Mathews appears to be healthy. Not sure about Orton or Big Ben, tough to play any non-elite QB against the Jets. Though, I would start Big Ben for the next two games (CAR, CLE).
++ Someone in the league dropped Javarris James. Should I drop James Starks and pick him up?? (other RBs are AP, Mathews, Lynch) ++ 12/15/2010 2:46:52 AM |

Quote : | "Known Issue: Week 14 - Arizona Defensive Touchdown Last Updated: December 14, 2010
Please note the touchdown recorded by Darnell Dockett is considered an offensive fumble TD. You can verify this touchdown was not recorded as a defensive touchdown on NFL.com.
This is a rather unusual play as the change of possession coupled with the additional fumble changes the entire way the touchdown is recorded by the NFL.
Situations where the following sequence occurs:
* A defensive player has taken possession of the ball through either an interception or fumble. * The defensive player subsequently fumbles the ball, and it is recovered for a touchdown by a teammate, the team defense will not be credited with a TD.
If the player who intercepted the ball or recovered the fumble returns it for a TD, then the team defense will receive credit for the TD." |

What about this one for WR3 (PPR):
Vincent Jackson - I'm thinking it might be his breakout week Mike Thomas - usually consistent for 10 points, just not last week Austin Collie - all signs point to him playing this week. But too risky?

now here is the real question- would you play TB's defense over San Diego (going against san fran tonight) this week? both teams really need that win tonight, so I imagine it has potential to get silly 12/16/2010 3:25:07 PM |

I would go with San Diego. I think Detroit has too much potential to score points, even though Drew Stanton is sure to throw at least 1 int.
What do you guys think of Reggie Bush? He had a pretty good game last week. Do you think he is back and worth starting? I have held on to him all season with this week in mind. If I dont start him, I would have to go with Marshawn Lynch. 12/16/2010 3:31:07 PM |

Pick 2
Greg Jennings vs NE Fred Jackson vs Miami Malcolm Floyd vs SF (i have rivers) Brian Westbrook vs SD Deion Branch vs GB
Basically i have jennings starting in my WR spot (along side Roddy White) and I have Westbrook in my flex. Both jackson and westbrook have shitty matchups and jennings sucks without rodgers.
Im thinking maybe running with Branch and Floyd

What the hell is up with MJD? Hasn't practiced all week?! I know this may be common but c'mon man, this is the fantasy semi's!
I picked up Rashad Jennings to be safe. Hell, I'm almost considering starting Jennings regardless because I'm sure MJD will be at the best, Q and somewhat limited. But kinda stupid to start Jennings in the Fantasy Semi's! 12/16/2010 5:47:37 PM |

Floyd ruled out for tonight. I'll pull him and put Branch in for the meantime.
I wish I knew MJD's status for sure so I would have the option of playing Tolbert or Westbrook. If he's ruled out I'll be stuck rolling with Fitzgerald as a flex
