I have done some networking events with him and is every bit as self-rightous, pretentious, and smug in person as he is on twitter. He is pretty much a living embodiment of the UNC alumni stereotype.

Yep. Either give SC credit for making big plays or realize that it's a product of UNC having a pretty poor defense...or some combination of both. Don't just throw your up hands up and say "welp that was a bogus big play"

Roy Williams has never yelled at refs about bad calls. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar and a common fool.

I didn't even watch the game. Listened to it in the car and the UNC announcers never once said anything was a bad call just that all the replays went the other way. Not that the replays were wrong though. But lest we forget, we are the lunatic fanbase...

^The line was in the wrong place (the first down marker was at the 6.5 yard line), but the chains did MOVE apparently while being carried across the field, since the ball was spotted at the 7 I believe.
I remember seeing the same thing happen when we played at Maryland in 2010...the end of the chain didnt line up with the first down marker on the far sideline. I was far more pleased with todays mistake though.

I didn't watch this game so I don't know what Fedora did or didn't do but most UNC fans I've heard from blame the loss on:
* The rain
* The refs

I haven't heard any complaints about Fedora so far.

I watched the UNC game. They completely got shafted on the fumble call that was reversed.

That said, they were down 21-20 at the time and would have had the ball deep in their own territory. I doubt they could have put together a scoring drive given the way their offense played before and after that sequence.

Still, I'd have been pissed if State was on the receiving end of that call (which we have been many times in the past).

when that play happened. it looked like the ball was fumbled through his arms and the tar holes recovered, but they said he "regained control of the fumble and hit down by contact", when the video didn't really confirm that...the ruling on the field was a fumble. then the terrible 3rd down picture up there, it looked short, but the yellow line on the screen was wrong, so I can see why they'd use that as a complaint too.
