my gift wrapping skills (under pressure) have dramatically increased though.

its just so awkward when you have to wrap like 5 things for someone and there are a million other people that need help and everyone is watching you wrap the present. sucks even more if you mess up! hah.

i did this gift wrapping shit in the mall as a fundraiser for goldsboro youth council when i was in high school. it sucks when they're right there watching you and the pressure is on.

my winn-dixie sold xmas trees and old ladies would come in and want to get one, but have no way to haul it. i'd tell them to go ahead and buy it and i'd strap it to the roof of my old blazer and deliver it to them when i got off work. made more money delivering a fucking xmas tree than i made in 4 hrs of bagging groceries

I think the worst day though is Christmas Eve....When I worked at Media play we would deal with dumb ass people expecting for find a playstation and then have the nerve to pitch a fit when we were sold out of them.

People are just in such a rush to get places and get their gifts they are in such a bad mood.

christmas eve sucked mainly because some guy accused me of stealing


he came in with a gift cert. for 20 bucks and bought one bag of chips. he got 18 bucks or so in change and i asked him if it was ok to give him fives instead of a ten cuz i was running low, he said ok.

an hour later he came in screaming that i didn't give him all his change. said "i went to get gas and reached in for the 10 dollar bill she gave me and it wasn't there!" miraculously i remembered and said, that's because I gave you 3 fives instead of a ten and a five, he yelled again. he kept being obnoxious until the manager came out, counted my till (which, another miracle) came out to the freaking penny. they checked my pockets, checked my purse, the guy still wouldn't leave. they had to call the cops.
