Saw a Ferrari 360 on the Tail of the Dragon Sunday...it was beautiful until I saw it crossing the center line and tailgating bikes waaay too close. I wanted to have a run with it but didn't get a chance, driver didn't do many. It was nice to see one of those cars actually used for some fast driving though.

Followed a Yellow Ferrari 360 Spider through country club hills for about 5 miles or so yesterday. Unfortunetly he had the top up and he never exceded 35mph or so but even at low speeds it still sounded amazing.

man, and my phone isn't particularly known for its great camera. Nokia 6230, 'bout a year old, the best the camera will do is 640 x 480. A lot of newer phones will do 1.3 megapixel...

actually, I'd argue that outside the z06, the sky is the most exotic car in GM's stable.

The styling is a dead ringer for the "they'll never build it" vauxall VX lightning concept, styled by simon cox, whose cadillac Cien will never see a showroom,

kicks off saturn's reinvention as the american opel/vauxall, meaning the domestic crappiness will have to at least become worldwide crappiness if not the more likely european-spec mediocre, which is a big step up for solstice,

it's a mini-corvette, a car in the 20k bracket with hydroformed rails and an overhead cam four cylinder, which while not so great in normal ecotec form, will be very notable when the sky red line comes out, in direct injection, turbo, 260 hp, 130 hp/L form!

direct injection turbo four cylinder in a rwd mini-vette with european, not originally american sensibilities? for UNDER 30k? wow. I'm sold.

too bad I'm not going to have an income when the red line goes on sale. And the sky's interior is a LOT more attractive than the solstice, although both have poorly arranged window-switches. Also a shame is that there are so many spotless s2000's out there just begging for a relatively affordable comptech or vortech blower.... given that I had the money, I'd have to drive both before I really knew what I'd want, regardless of whether it'd come down to the sky not having an automated top and NO storage space. dammit, gm, so freakin close....

I know the owner, its a yellow F355 Spider, so different car than the GTS which is in the photos above. It was up at European Performance back in the fall, that is where he bought it from. I don't know the owner of the 355 GTS.

Bentley Continental GT at the Spring Football game today. Each time I see one of these in person, I like them more.





And, while it isn't really an exotic, I consider it noteworthy enough--a *really* nice '69 Camaro near Fletcher Park last weekend.

Oh yea I also saw another Bentley driving back home the same day. It was the same bright blue one I saw about last November.
