where did the myth about goalies being fat guys originate?

what shots do you have the most trouble with? (i.e. gloveside low, blockerside high, 5hole?)

why arent there ever any goalie (alternate) captains? (i dont know of any)

slapshots or wristshots? wrist!

No idea about the myth.

Stick side low are the toughest.

Goalies are not allowed to be captains, because technically they're not supposed to leave the area around the goal for any reason.

The two shots present two types of problems. On slapshots, you have to be square and hope to get lucky, because it's easy to get blown away. On wristers, you have to keep focused on the puck and react in a controlled manner. Though I play butterfly, I use a lot of arms and kickouts, and I'd rather face a wrister any day.

Yes, they usually have both.

I wouldn't make or break an amp deal based on an XLR out, but I might tote along a converter box just in case.
