4th year at NCSU, and the first of two years of marathon partying. Rolling in money (ok at least for a college kid) from a successful PC business and a co-op and just having turned 21 resulted in a tucker max like lifestyle except for the whole being an asshole to everyone part and not anywhere near as much tail.
had a legendary party pad walking distance from campus on enterprise st., and more importantly, in close proximity to the all female dorms which my roommates and I made inroads into.
This was pre-NPO, so we never got busted, even though we went through 3 kegs every weekend.
I wouldn't trade my current life for anything, but if i had to pick any other time in my life to relive, it'd be the period from fall 1999 to the spring of 2001. life was just so easy. 9/25/2009 8:54:48 PM |

It would have been a Friday, so I was probably packing up to go home for the weekend. Man, I miss doing barely 20 hours of school-related stuff on an average week and goofing off the rest of the time. Now it's 40 hours in a cubicle. 10/1/2009 4:27:34 PM |

October 2, 1999 was a Saturday. I was 13 years old. If I wasn't playing with my pekingese dog Khan, I was probably on the computer playing C&C TS and conquering someone's base on Westwood's server. Don't have much time for computer games anymore. 10/2/2009 11:43:21 AM |

I was in the middle of what had to be my darkest days ever. Partying every night and staying drunk for just about every day of the week. I just did not give a damn. Was living in Cary at the time, I think. Tending bar. Working for my dad, and starting the downward spiral that almost tanked his business. I was very self destructive at the time.
I am mostly dry now, rarely drink. Have a decent job. Still unhappy, don't know what to do about it. Depressed. Overwhelmed. It all sucks, just not as bad as 10 years ago. 10/2/2009 12:57:53 PM |

^^ did you take a lot of drugs in your "dark days"? They tend to use up all the dopamine and serotonin in your brain (that's why getting high feels good).... Those hormones don't really regenerate very well - they're supposed to be reabsorbed into your nerve cells before your liver processes them, but when you get high they all get flushed into your system so fast that you wind up peeing them out.
Just think, you pissed out all your happiness by doing drugs. Literally. 10/2/2009 11:02:06 PM |

Senior year at http://www.sunyit.edu (upstate NY).
Click below for one of the most beautiful small college campuses in the US. Just see the 1st pic (an aerial pic of the whole campus) https://www.sunyit.edu/images/virtualtour/campus_scenes/campus_scenes.swf
I used to live in the triangle of town houses (Mohawk Residence Hall) in the top right of the aerial picture (1st pic) in the link above. (or bottom right of the 2nd pic)
And I was madly in love with Christina Ricci's cousin, who was beautiful, unlike Christina who is ugly. (she was a junior) 10/19/2009 7:55:03 PM |
