You know what Josh, I bet if Buffalo loses to Edmonton in the finals they are really going to be kicking themselves for not holding onto Roloson who played a grand toal of like 32 games for them when they had Dominik Hasek as their starting goaltender.
You know, the same Dwayne Roloson who up until this year had his only claim to fame be that he was part of an Irbe/Weekes or Gerber/Ward type split goalie situation with Minnesota when they were in the playoffs a handful of years ago.
Just like if the Sabres were to beat the Oilers, the Oilers would surely be kicking themselves for letting Mike Grier slip away.

You know what, if you can't acknowledge that Ward was pulled more for the rest of the team being shitty in front of him, than for him doing a genuinely terrible job in goal, then you should hop right back on your bandwagon and just ignore everyone else while we're having a conversation.5/25/2006 6:48:35 PM |

That Edmonton game tonight was just brutal. For a second there with the chain penalties against the Oilers it reminded me of our game three.
My mother called me at one point in the game and asked me "Who let the Ducks out?"
heh.

gg Edmonton. Taking out the not so Mighty Ducks in 5 with a score of 2-1 tonight. They are the first 8th seeded team to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals ever. 5/28/2006 12:52:14 AM |
