yea, i haven't been able to play halo 3 lately because the internet to it is my neighbors, which is really laggy. when i was able to play it with no lag i couldn't play with anyone i knew, so team slayer = auto lose when i would top the charts, so i was stuck to doing lone wolves / rumble pit which got pretty old, especially when i would just die constantly and get pretty pissed at it.

i can't imagine COD4 would be much different in that aspect, but who knows

thanks for those videos...i was trying to fight up the middle of the field...should have thought of that right route on my own, but after a couple of days not being able to get out of it, i needed help

so, for the PC players, be aware there is an aimbot out there that isn't detectable by punkbuster yet...i was on a server tonight with a guy and went into spectate on a guy who did a instant 180 to get me...simply retarded but thankfully there was an admin there who speced him and banned him after getting a good recording

i hit rank 55 about a week ago. i started off in FFA games and did most of the enlisted ranks that way. stupid me i find out after that you can easily level up in headquarters much much much faster.


now iv moved on to just hardcore servers and its a new game. no reticle isnt that big of a deal until you are trying to throw a grenade on the move into a window at a strange angle. the m14/G3 is now worthwhile as you can kill in 2 shots instead of 5 body shots.

They need to do something with sniper rifles and the (lack) of attachments. remove the acog and add a supressor to a few of them, add a bipod attachment to the barret so you dont need to get iron lungs and can instead get piercing bullets.

I've started playing Sabotage and Headquarters and they are exceedingly fun. I actually scored over 400 points on one game last night. I just unlocked Overkill, too, so I'm anxiously thinking about new weapon combinations. I still just love my USP so much that I can't see not carrying it, though.

Headquarters is great. You can absolutely suck during a game and still walk away with a few hundred points.

Personally I'm partial to grabbing an LMG and finding a spot where I can blast everyone scrambling for the headquarters. I was on 'backlot' a few nights ago and managed to kill the entire other team twice before they figured it out and tried to flank me. Of course by that point I had already bombed the hell out of them and called in a chopper.

Tough call - Stopping Power or Overkill. So far I am not sure Overkill is as valuable as I'd have hoped. I've been using Stopping Power with every single loadout, but I thought I'd try some 2-gun carrying on my sniper loadout. From what I've seen so far, it's just not worth sacrificing the power for another weapon even if you do have more versatility. The M40 seems to lose all of its effectiveness when you can no longer 1-body-shot kill someone from long range. Looks like I'll be stickin' with my good ol' USP.

How does the P90 compare to the AKS-74U? I don't have the P90 yet, but the AKS-74U is almost godly.

i am pretty happy using the rpd with grip attachment, which counts as perk 1. then stopping power and deep impact. I used juggernaut a litte last night and the other team bitched and called me a fag for about 3 games for having it on... ??? i was confused. I did not not know juggernaut was considered cheating.

I always make an ass out of myself with the P90 by forgetting that it's the P90, trying to snipe someone with it, emptying the entire mag without hurting them, and then being beaten to death with my own shoe.

i am so stuck in quite possibly one of the hardest levels in the history of video games - 'no fighting in the war room' on veteran. i am going to say that the hardest videogame in history in the ninja gaiden on master ninja setting. i think ng2 will have some ridiculously insane achievements that only few will ever get.

^ Thats actually close to the setup I have for "Shipment." Except I have red dot sight instead of grip and replace Perk1 with 3 frags. I've been averaging 60+ kills per game.

Well I got upto level 52 last night after playing a shit load. Today the fucker didnt save ANYTHING from last night, so im back down to 47.

giving the sniper rifles in mp silencers would be a balancing issue. combined with UAV jammer they could probably dominate any team hardcore match.

I love the sniper rifles in the urban maps, but I seeing where the shot came from on the killcam kind of defeats the whole principle of sniping. Albeit it would be a tremendous pain in the ass to not know where to find the guy who kept blasting you.

maybe it's more of an issue on the 360...i dunno...but on the pc I find that if you use cover and move with some semblance of tact (and save your sprint for crossing open areas), snipers aren't that bad...at least no worse than getting killed in CQB

or maybe i'm just more used to playing games like the battlefield series where constant run and gun is a detriment to your wellbeing
