damn straight. dude has some great shit. the autechre vid for second bad vilbel is another one of my favorites. dude does all the robotics for his vids too. and the squarepusher vid for come on my selector is good for a chuckle or two. oh, and how could i forget...the video for the windowlicker song, seeing as that what the original posted aphex image was for. the opening is fuckin hilarious. it has its own wtf moment.

different services have different regulations


for example, when you see navy or marines in doors, they should be uncovered unless on duty or carrying weapons or colors.
if they are, then they should salute. if not


if those admirals were in the RBC stadium for the anthem, they would just stand at attention if uncovered

I thought that Reagan started the tradition of saluting. Prior presidents regarded their office as a civilian job.

a. those are generals in the Army. never seen that uniform, but they must have a summer dress
b. yes, they would stand at attention if uncovered.
c. but everything about the picture tells me the anthem is playing. the generals are correct, and so is the President. he might be the commander-in-chief, but he's also a civilian, so he's right too. if he stood at attention like any other military service member out of uniform, it would look like he's not covering his heart. if he had a uniform made for him, which theoretically would make sense (other heads of state wear uniforms on occasion), he would salute.

Chapter 18
Army White Uniform—Male

i think the hand over the heart during the national anthem is not entirely accurate.

If I remember correctly, you only place your hand over your heart during the pledge of allegiance. during the national anthem civilians should stand still, in a somewhat "attention" position.

at least that's what I was taught many years ago
