I thought it was common knowledge that it was a Shakespeare quote? However, the tattoo is clearly based on Twilight, not Shakespeare... And the quote is the intro to Breaking Dawn...

it wasn't clearly anything to me- I had to google the quote, and it came up Shakespeare. I still don't get the symbolism, but I'm not a fan of twilight, so I wouldn't expect myself to. I don't think it's a terrible tattoo, just being used as another way for people to hate on the boggling success of a franchise

i, too, read all four and think it's a poorly written series...

that's doesn't mean the story wasn't mildly intriguing or entertaining...

after the first book i was interested enough to read the rest...

however, after the third book, i was just invested in the series at that point and wanted to see it through

I read the first one & stopped before I got halfway throu the second. It was too fucking angsty for me.

However, I did enjoy the Sookie Stackhouse series & the Hunger Games, also written for a similar demographic. I just liked those stories better than the twilight thing
