I haven't played there before, but from what I've read, it's a tighter course that doesn't' have much length to it- that is good and bad... it is better (IMO) to have an accurate short game than a wild bomber game, at least if you wanna play on the east coast. Just keep at it and like I said before- putt putt putt!

I'm back in Raleigh now and I live like 5 seconds from the Kentwood course. If anyone ever wants to play let me know. I'm still a beginner but I'm always down for 18 with anyone.

^^we need to keep this thread alive! I wanna play today!

^yes, Sharron Harris has a course that runs around it (Buckhorn) - it is a really fun course, but be sure to bring bug spray and play conservatively on holes 15 and 17 (if your disc goes in that pond, you are never getting it back).

I've picked this up as a hobby recently. Probably won't be playing much now that it's beach season, but it's a great way to get outdoors, get my buzz on, and get my dog some exercise. There's a great course on John's Island (SC) that has man-made finger lakes where kids are wakeboarding on pully systems. So there are about 5 or 6 water holes and my dog chases the wakeboarders back and forth while I get drunk and throw a disc all over the place.

It helps that it's right next to my favorite brunch spot. So I've got a pitcher of mimosas in me to start my game off right.

I haven't played in a while...but might try and get out this weekend. I never got any better, but my dog loves heading out there...so I mainly do it for him and just to get outside and enjoy the weather.

I haven't played but I just moved to within walking distance of Jones Park in Holly Springs so I've been thinking about picking it up.

I'd love to play but don't know anyone that does anymore. Used to play pretty much every day in college/high school.

Jones Park was a pretty nice course. I wish I were closer.

I'm in Durham now, but there's some decent courses around. Leigh Farm park is pretty decent for what it is.

I've been trying to play at least once a week, but it's a struggle with family/work obligations. I've mainly been having a lot of fun shopping online and searching the bins at Play It Again for new disks

When I was home for Christmas I played buckhorn and jones gap and really enjoyed both. Buckhorn had some pretty difficult holes that I was not prepared for. I just enjoy being outside and letting my dog run around a bit.
