I didn't get to see Wye Oak, and the more I listen to their latest album, I'm...kinda upset about it.

Surfer Blood annoys me to high heavens though. I think it's their tempo for the most part, and the fact that they call themselves "Surfer Blood," and it's all a bunch of weak bullshit with a slow tempo and they're from Florida, where the streets are certainly more dangerous than the ocean. Having all those kids bouncing around on stage at the end of their set didn't help matters much, either...

Especially since before the hipster-wave fad, especially in Raleigh, there were so many people wearing these sunglasses.

And Joie posting herself in Wayfarer frames with a PBR and saying how hipster she looks is also pretty meaningless.
