You actually have a hard limit of IP hits you can make in a day. Each character gets 50 action points a day, which regenerate 1 point every 30 minutes. You can make additional characters to play (I have 5 ) but your IP can only hit the server 180 times a day or so. After that, your computer is locked out of the server until the next day...which is like 5pm or so because the game is based in the UK.
