Ibaka blocked 12.4% of the Nuggets 2 point shots in that series

That seems amazing...I'd like to see a similar stat for other players in their series

I hate that the Mavs-Blazers starts at 10:30... that's the game I wanted to see most tonight but I can't stay up for that.

Am I misremembering or did TBS used to carry playoff games too with a national broadcast team?

So I'm just going to say that me picking the Grizzlies in 6 is one of the best calls in TWW history. How many people in the world have ever actually nailed a #8 seed over a #1 seed and even gotten the # of games correct?

I think I'm tied for first now with the experts in the hoops smackdown actually.

Gotta put in some work for round 2 now.

This round is so tough to call.

going with

Chi in 5 (atl is inferior team)
Mia in 7 (bos in 6 is close tho)

LAL in 7 (i think this series is closer than people think)
OKC in 7 (tough one to call almost took OKC in 5, OKC looked great against denver but they got a lot of calls. mem doesnt foul like denver does)

boston was off today. they are an off and on team.

Miami looks far superior but we all knew that coming in obviously.

There's a reason no one was picking Miami in 5 even though the pure numbers suggested it. I wouldnt underestimate Boston's chances of rebounding and winning 2 of the next 3 to tie the series.

Right, like we said all along. Rose will win the MVP which makes it all the funnier when you realize he's not top ten.

Everyone who follows the NBA knows he's overrated.

so I think there are only two real contenders this yr, miami and LA

and I give atlanta a hard time for doing stupid stuff like giving johnson max money or whatever but they've got a really solid group of guys, lebron could have went there and had a good chance to win a title, def better than staying in cleveland

Douches rarely evolve.

and this is awesome

Quote :
"Since the Hawks eliminated his Magic on Thursday, Orlando point guard Jameer Nelson has some free time on his hands.

The Hawks hoped he would spend it watching Game 1 of Atlanta's second-round series against the Chicago Bulls.

Hawks spokesman Arthur Triche announced on Twitter earlier Monday that he was leaving two tickets for Nelson after the Magic guard was caught telling Bulls star Derrick Rose "catch you in the second round" after the two teams met on April 10."

^^^^Atlanta has a nice roster on paper but I feel like the collective basketball IQ of the team (minus Al Horford and I guess Pachulia) is ridiculously low. Like Josh Smith - jesus fucking christ just screen and roll to the basket or take your man off the dribble or fucking post; you're better at all three of those things than shooting jumpers. He's like CJ Leslie circa 2020.

Even the guys who played really well tonight, like Johnson and Crawford, made some well-contested, off-balance outside shots. Johnson was a damn beast though.

On the other hand: if Rose doesn't rediscover his stroke, the Bulls are gonna get bounced this round.

ATL might just be coming into their own at the right time, like the Grizzlies perhaps

Seems like the "best team wins in a best-of-7 series" thing is more like the one-and-done March Madness tourney, but I'm confident it will iron itself out in the later rounds

Yeah, you wouldn't expect Atlanta to have a "switch" to even be flipped, but apparently...

There has been a surprising level of parity in the playoffs. It's made this already amazing season even better. Would be a damn shame to end it with a lockout.

haha committing a shooting foul on Odom 70 feet from the basket at the end of the quarter, Terry is a dumbass

and a tech on Dirk Diggler...all within 1 second of actual gameplay

Wow the favorites in all four series just lost game 1 (obviously the Heat/Celtics is a push, but many experts had Boston winning this series).

So where is the best place to watch games online now that ATDHE.net is shut down?

Is there anywhere you can pay for decent quality feed?

For games on TNT you can sometimes watch it live via http://www.NBA.com . They have the option with four camera views. I watched it last night, and it was pretty good.

The TNT feed seems to work fine in Chrome and IE.

When using Firefox, every time I try to launch it, I get the error "The Adobe Flash Plugin has Crashed". I checked and have the latest version of Flash Player installed, version 10.2.159.1

Update: Crashes in Chrome as well, even with updated Flash Player.

Any ideas why it won't work in Firefox or Chrome?
