Cousin's was in Wake Forest a few weeks back at their food truck rodeo and the line was 100+ deep the whole afternoon.

Raleigh is being such dicks about it.

Cousin's is coming to Keystone Technology Park on Davis this Friday. There's usually no lines for trucks that come here but I'm sure people follow Cousin's like crazy.

That being said, I plan to get there a half hour early and cheat on my diet to indulge in one of those bad boys.

Anyone had both the hot and cold sandwiches? I was thinking of going cold since I'll likely bring it back to my office to eat.

We just got a lobster food truck in Charleston that has the best fucking lobster rolls ever. They go for around $15/roll...but they're fucking delicious and worth every penny.

And Bill Murray's group is opening up a bar about a mile from me (biking/walking distance), that has a huge parking lot and will contract out several food trucks to be there at a time. They're calling it a Food Truck O'rama. I'm pumped.

Just tried the Wandering Moose for the first time. Had the brisket sandwich and the bacon mac and cheese. This truck is awesome. The brisket falls apart like pot roast but has a crunch on the edges and has blue cheese and grilled onions. They smoke the mac and cheese and the bacon is like cubes of smoked bacon and gives the mac sauce an awesome flavor with a hint of heat.

Definitely recommend. It's still at Keystone Tech Park on Davis Dr. til 1:30 if anyone is in the area.

tried the Rare Earth Farms food truck today. REF is an organic/ethical/grass-fed cattle ranch and they actually do the cow sharing thing (sell whole/half/quarter/etc. cows).

anyway, the food truck sells artisan burgers and I went today. amazing. the burger was enormous and stacked so high with toppings. the small fries were also a huge portion and they have a bunch of different sauces you can get with them. I had the bandito burger.

highly recommend if you see it around. it's at House of Hops on Glenwood tomorrow around dinner time - they have a pretty up to date calendar/website it looks like.

I'd say it's in a similar fashion to Chuck's but better.
