Our go to is Cocobon....real smooth, heavy red:

2nd favorite is this Cotes Du Rhone...love my grenache, and this is a grenache/syrah blend:

This cab/merlot blend isn't a favorite, but it's also one of their best $5 bottles:

The other "cheapest" bottle we buy is the Grifone Primitivo:

Don't get the Grifone Sangiovese...it's a tough one. I actually think I poured out half a bottle the one time we tried it.

Also like the Benefactor wines...mainly the Cabernet:

Trenatre Rosso is a good, dry red ($7 I think):

Wife likes the Dark Horse Cabernet:

Not the biggest fan of their whites. I don't mind the Grifone Pinot Grigio if I have to get a white. I do really like their Vinho Verde (just not a fan of the lighter alcohol content):

Best thing about all of those wines is that the Dark Horse is the most expensive at $7.99. The rest are around $5 or $6 (Cocobon is $7 I think). Which is great for a couple that splits AT LEAST a bottle of wine a night. Although we've stopped drinking on most weeknights until our February Aruba vacation. It's ridiculous how much more I can eat and still maintain my weight if i don't drink....and also sad.

They have the best pretzel rolls on the entire planet. We've gotten them before and made sandwiches, but we had Brats for the Super Bowl and our friends freaked out. They are the softest, tastiest pretzel rolls I've ever had. I think I could subsist entirely on these rolls.

Other than that, their bakery/pastry section isn't that great. They've got some decent sourdough, but their French baguette's are kind of "meh". And their other sliced breads go bad quickly (within the week).

I am addicted to the vanilla meringue cookies. Not much too them but Iove them so much. Cranberry brie phyllo (sp?) bites are magnificent. Did not care for the cookie butter though. Very disappointed. My friends loved it though.

Anyone tried the new cookie butter cookies?? I've been avoiding them as we're watching what we eat before vacation...but I'm going to tear into those mfers when we get back. I love cookie butter, but didn't like the cookie butter chocolate peanut butter cups they made.

Isn't that an indication of lack of preservatives?

When I buy sliced bread from La Farm, it sometimes goes bad in a couple days. Not all that convenient, but its pretty good while it lasts

^Yes. Thought that was a given. Regardless, I'm pretty much the only person in my house that makes/eats sandwiches during the week...so a loaf usually has to last at least two weeks. I'd buy a half loaf if they were available. It sucks having to go to a separate grocery store, but there are usually enough items I have to buy at Harris Teeter to make the trip seem worthy...but that's where I get my bread. Plus the Arnold bread is pretty tasty.

I normally only eat half the container of cookies I buy from TJ's before they go stale, but that ain't happening with these.

I haven't been to TJ's in a while for 2 reasons.
1. Crowd
2. I'll just pick up snack foods. Can't control myself.

While Trader Joe's Sriracha sucks...their Sriracha and Roasted Garlic BBQ sauce is the bees knees:

Marinated some chicken breasts in it over the weekend and had delicious grilled chicken sandwiches on their [also awesome] pretzel buns.

Their Rabbit Ridge Paso Robles is also a solid pick-up at $6.99:

The Speculoos Cheesecake bites aren't as phenomenal as they sound (they sound like the best creation ever)...but they are pretty tasty:

Their mango-pineapple salsa is pretty fucking tasty:

Just had it with chips last weekend. Going to put it on some Mahi tonight.

Used that Sriracha BBQ sauce again on some grilled chicken last night. Still good.

Got some pumpkin butter yesterday...delicious. Spread it on my bagel this morning with some cream cheese. Going to figure out some other things to do with it:

I also really like their salsas. The Cowboy Caviar is delicious:

Also like to combine the chunky and the hot for the perfect balance of heat:

I need one of these to open up in the Brier Creek area. I'm too lazy to go to Wake Forest Rd.

That Sriracha BBQ is still the bees knees. We use it on pork chops. grilled chicken, and ribs. Perfect for ribs. Just the right amount of heat.
