I'm super behind, but I'm about to get started on my 5th book. Compared to you all I am a complete failure. Compared to my previous years I am well on my way! For my 5th book -- should I go with 50 Shades of Grey or Gregor the Overlander? I plan to read both at some point, just not exactly sure what I want to get myself into for the next couple weeks. I read slowly.

I like his other books. This sounds interesting. It is now on my to-read list.

You guys are going to start catching up to me as I have multiple 1,000+ page books on deck like the one I'm on now at 1,007 pages. I also have a reread of a book I read last year for a book club. Does that count for this?

It's good. Really fast, really easy to read. Lot of humor in it. I want to read it another couple of times to try to remember some of the examples she cites.
Highly recommended.

I did. And now I think my brain is on overload with that series. The last one ended on a damn cliffhanger, and I really hate waiting a year to figure out the ending. Probably wouldn't be this vested in the next book if I had spaced them out a bit. Or not read them all in one week...

I'm in a book rut. After I finished the Southern Vampire series, I haven't found anything that seems interesting. I've read a few short stories, and brain candy novels that are so ridiculous I'm not even going to put them on my list.

Recommendations?

Is it good? I'll add it to my list, but I'm not limited to vampires. I can read just about anything.

These Elmore Leonard books were the inspiration of Justified on FX. Who knew? Now I'm reading about Raylan Givens.
