while not a huge different, it is very laughable. based on tournament seeding alone:

arithmetic mean seeding: acc = 5.4 mwc = 7.0
geometric mean seeding: acc = 3.7 mwc = 6.7
median seeding: acc 3 mwc = 6


looks to be ACC>>MWC just on those metrics alone. pick any metric and that statement is laughable.

then look at the "top" teams... unc, duke, fsu all are better than mwc top teams.

well who are the lower tier MWC teams? They named their top tier and compared them to the ACC's lower tier. Their upper tier cant really compete with UNC, Duke, FSU (throwing out that UNLV/UNC game )

Yeah, playing AFA, UNLV, CSU, New Mexico twice each is harder than having to play BC and Wake twice each. They only have 8 teams, too. I'd venture to say BC and Wake were worse than all teams in the MW.
