Polls show that once voters are informed of the actual changes Amendment One will involve, a majority will vote against it. However, that only makes a difference if those voters are informed and if they then go vote! Do your part. Early voting has started and goes through May 5th.

I'm sure it has been mentioned, but it bares repeating - this Amendment makes domestic partnerships between ANYONE illegal, regardless of sexual orientation. People who currently get benefits through their partners would be refused those benefits here. This is NOT just about gay marriage, so regardless of your opinion on that, please vote against this Amendment.

I think the government should be in the business of bettering society, like helping it's citizens get an education and skills to have a career and be a productive member of society.
