Anyone sticking around and watching the Auburn/Clemson game somewhere? My group has tickets for that game too, but I waited too long and got left out.

Cutcliffe commented that Duke has the toughest opening game of all ACC teams. They play FIU who went 6-7 last year. I guess its debatable, but why does Cutcliffe hate Tennessee so much?

Well there's plenty of parking garages downtown that aren't too long a walk from the dome. Just curious, why wouldn't MARTA work?

^ probably her group of friends have enough money that it's not worth putting up with the danger and general unpleasantry of the MARTA.

Plus the MARTA only goes North/South and East/West. If you aren't staying in a hotel close to a MARTA dropoff it's not convenient.

It has nothing to do with wealth or the MARTA (my parents take that into work often), but we have a lot of kids/carseats/grandparents coming, and a rather big group. It doesn't make sense for us to drive 15 miles to the Alpharetta station, then take the MARTA in, and walk, when we could spend less time/money driving three cars to park downtown.

Kidding... yes, Bulldogs is a black gay bar and this weekend is ALSO Black Gay Pride, so it will be slammed. I live literally 1/2 a block away and can see Bulldogs from my balcony, it will be nuts this weekend, definitely dont go unless you are gay and probably black.

I am going to the game, schndlersfist is going as well, hes flying in Thursday at 3pm.

We are hitting up Sweetwater for a brewery tour at 5:30 on Thursday then watching the South Carolina/Vandy game at Taco Mac Midtown

^ sorry dude, that makes no sense. On a NORMAL Friday the drive into downtown from there sucks balls. On this Friday, it will be insane and will DEFINITELY take more time than parking at an outlying MARTA station and riding in. Wont even be close. ^my bad! Definitely have done that to asshole out-of-towers a few times. There were some Buffalo Sabres fans at Ri Ra one night a couple of years ago that we sent there, they came back 30 minutes later and were NOT happy.

^^Sorry you don't understand our justifications for driving and parking. But it's not really a big issue, and not sure why everyone is jumping on it. Obviously we aren't the only ones bypassing public transportation, since parking passes are sold out. Suffice it to say that for our group of 12, it doesn't work for us. And I am well aware of the traffic in Atlanta, my parents live there...

^^ well to be fair you havent really explained it... if parking at the dome is sold out, and you dont want to park NEAR the dome and walk and you dont want to ride transit in then your options are pretty much shit unless you have an odd definition of "near"...

^ 5:30 is when it opens on Thursdays. We definitely want to catch the Vandy game so it will be cutting it close so we plan on being there waiting for the door to open
