God you are being weird. Once again, I have no idea what your random trolling and creepy digging for info on me has to do with Braves baseball, but yes, a better opportunity came along. And I never said dream job, said a good offer. I have switched since then too... Like drinking pitchers, moving jobs when you get a better offer is weird now? Ok.

And as I have discussed before, growing up in TN with no team nearby, I liked the Cowboys and Falcons (and since I know you will bring it up, this was the mid 80s, well before the Cowboys were good again). Much like people in NC liked other teams before the Panthers. If the Titans had come when I was 7 then I probably would have switched to the local team, but I was already in college so I never switched over.

Would you like my time sheet from last week? Does that somehow factor into the Braves 2013 season?

To get back on track, I am definitely stoked about the Braves so far this year. I don't think there was much of a surprise about the home runs, but the starting and relief pitching has been great, and the depth of the team with guys like Gattis and Francisco among other being able to come in and perform has been impressive.

Shutout in two out of the last three games and we only sent 27 batters to the plate last night No walks, hit in to two DPs. Horrible performance.

Honestly though this is probably what the Braves will be all season. Right now there are 4 guys well below .200 (BJ, Heyward, Uggla, Simmons) and as a team we'll probably struggle to hit .250 for the season. Live by the HR and die by HR. Just like some of the Braves teams from the 90s. Hope the pitching holds up...
