Bray also made references about trips to the mall with Schroeder, as well as "burger night" at a Knoxville restaurant, and an accident with a deer that included Bray, Schroeder and two others. When contacted by Yahoo Sports, Schroeder affirmed that Bray was a friend and initially agreed to an interview. When informed the story was about Bray's involvement with Davis, Schroeder said he didn't know who Davis was. When asked why his name appeared as a recipient on a $700 Western Union transaction from Davis that also listed Bray, Schroeder replied: "Uh, man, I have no comment on that." According to the report, it had nothing to do with Tennessee itself, it was an outside agent (unless they find out Tennessee knew about it and did nothing). Its not "cheating" as it had no impact on actual game play, so he should have said something more along the lines of "Tennessee cant keep tabs on its own players, blah blah" if he wanted to successfully troll.

eh... it is cheating considering it's against the rules of the NCAA. it really doesn't matter if it does or doesn't have an impact on game play. it may be a stupid rule, but it's still a rule. bit of a shame too that peyton's single game passing record was broken by somebody that probably should have been ruled ineligible in the first place.

^^ Well, yeah, I agree its against the rules, but someone brought up "cheated and could only beat..." like it impacted the actual game. If I (as someone not affiliated with NC State) went and gave Pete Thomas $500 (lol) and State never knew about it, and then a year later it came out that I gave him that money while he was a player then yes it would be against the rules, but I wouldnt call it "State cheated". Now, if State knew about it, and didnt care, or even worse encouraged it, then thats a totally different story.
