I don't know who started the trend of having a different colored court outside and inside the 3 point line, but I hate them for it. I'd be down for that last design if the honeycomb floor design extended inside the 3 point line and around the paint.

I'd much rather have the 9th pick this year than roll the dice on detroit getting a high lottery pick next year and there being quality guys available. The #4 pick in 2013 got us Zeller and #2 pick in 2012 MKG. I'm pretty sure we'll get a guy better than Zeller and at least as good if not better than MKG at #9 this year.

And Kevin Love's not happening. It'd probably take Kemba, #9 pick and maybe another piece to get Minnesota to agree to it, but Love wants to play for a contender and I don't think we'd have enough left in that situation to get him to sign an extension.

^^It's well known that Love just wants to play for a contender. Teams like the Rockets, Suns and Warriors are willing to gamble that he'll sign a long-term deal if they trade for him and do well next year. Those teams are also stocked with more assets than the Hornets, so Charlotte would have to outbid them with that #9 pick plus a decent player.

^Yeah, Hairston might actually be the best SG available, and he's probably ready to contribute sooner than later. But Cho doesn't fuck around with character issues. Hornets might shy away just because of the weed and gun.
