He wore #2 at Wisconsin (retired), and #7 (Wallin) and #8 (Gleason) for Team USA. Wonder what he will end up with here. Jersey purchase is very possible.

Go Philly. I am not a fan of Florida at all, although both of these teams are two of my least favorites.

so, we'd have to go 6-0, and the caps 1-5-1?

lol, that would be pretty funny.

I do. I'm pretty confident we'll get in, and as unlikely as it may be, if Philly chokes down the stretch we could....COULD get the 4 seed.

Fuck the Panthers. A couple more years and they go on the longest playoff drought in the history of the NHL. I'd love to see it.

Rangers lost in a shootout, throwing away a 4-2 lead against atlanta. what a bunch of dumbasses. and now the lightning have tied up the montreal game.

I fucking hate the Panthers, and we're not catching Philly. The more FLA loses, the closer we get to the playoffs.

I may be an idiot, but I think I'd rather finish 6th and play Washington. I'm certainly not gonna complain if we can climb to 4th or 5th, but if I could pick my opponent it certainly wouldn't be Philly.

IMO - I would rather Boston then New Jersey. Tim the tool sucks the root come playoff time, and I just have this feeling that Boston will choke faster then a 16 year old on prom night.

for me its capitals>nj>bruins*

*i dont know anything about phili

right now ideally i want us to win out, anyone above us to lose, anyone below us to lose

in that order, so if team above us plays team below us i want team above us to lose

I would caution you guys who think playing NJ would be a cakewalk. This Saturday will tell the real tale because it will be the first time this season that you play against Marty. If it came to it in the playoffs you'd be up against not only Marty, but a healthy Colin White who is crucial back on D. I don't aim to take away from what Cam and the Canes have pulled off here at the end but it would be folly to become complacent when facing the Parise-Zajac-Langenbrunner line.

I'd rather face the Caps.....playoffs is all about riding goalies. Of the top 4 teams, I'd rather face Theodore than the other three (Thomas, Brodeur and Biron). Washington's defense will hang him dry for long stretches too. And the fact we've had our way with them since Cole's been back (even the shootout loss, I thought we outplayed them).

Marty can kiss my ass. Especially since he'll never EVER come close to Roy's playoff wins record.

This team could not beat NJ. It could upset the Caps or Bs.

^^ Clemmenson and Weekes were goalies both times. I think both games were also the back end of back-to-backs for the Devils. I know for sure the second one was.

Personally I'm all for the Caps, Theodore sucks and I love our rivalry that's brewing with them. As for the other teams, it's really a crap shoot on how we'll do so yeah.

I'm guessing that he's not gonna start...with NJ playing tonight in a game against the Rangers, he's going to see a lot of action, and my guess would be that they give him rest Saturday night against us, esp. with the playoffs right around the corner...
