Lol Miami did nearly everything possible to lose that game and still won. Face it UNC you are fucking bad. The yardage looks comparable only because of the big plays that Miami then made nothing of but a couple field goals. Delusional fan base I tell ya! 10/18/2013 8:32:21 AM |

I haven't watched much of either team this year. But Miami didn't impress me. And UNC showed a few flashes (mostly Ebron) but on the whole appeared undisciplined and disorganized at times.
And of course Miami had a couple drives that should have ended in touchdowns, but they had to settle for FGs.

I wonder even more often about why I care so much. I think I have reached the point though where I may not. I slept the entire second half of tonight's game. Told my daughter at halftime this reminded me too much of the Georgia Tech game. I've seen this movie before. Its a tragic story. It'd make you cry if it didn't happen far too often. This is the best one I've read so far:
Quote : | "Let me give kudos to the students who have come out in force this season. Now, with the team at 1-5, I don't expect that to continue.
The atmosphere was great last night, people wore black, and the overall attendance was pretty good but certainly not close to a sellout.
Now, my criticizing fans moment. On my row, there are 4 seats to the left of my seats. Last year, those seats were used for exactly ONE game: the wupaggies. The people using those seats were a Carolina grad, his wife, his wupaggie son, and wupaggie daughter-in-law. The wife and daughter-in-law sat silently in their seats while the dad cheered some for Carolina and his son was an obnoxious wupaggie with whom I almost got into a fight. Last night, the 4 of them showed up again with the son and daughter-in-law wearing Miami gear and the son being an obnoxious Hurricane. Again, we almost got into a fight. At the end of the game as the son was yelling at me, I told the dad, "You're a horrible Carolina fan. You only show up one game and year and you bring an obnoxious fan of the other team. Why don't you just stay home all the time?"
The dad was pissed and started cursing me out while saying "That is my son. I'm a better GD Carolina fan than you. I have been a ***** Ram's Club member since 1972 after I graduated here after playing baseball. I'm sure I've given more money than you. What have you done?"
I replied, "No, you're still a bad fan because you only show up one game a year and bring a fan of the other team who is obnoxious. And your son needs to pick a team." The dad started giving some story about his son grew up as a Miami fan and graduated from State. I said, "Well, you did a poor job raising him. If you want to be a good fan, come to all the games and don't bring fans of other teams."
They then left as I said, "I guess I won't see you until next season's State game."" |

Also, this: They then left as I said, "I guess I won't see you until next season's State game.
Means "as soon as they were out of sight, I said under my breath I guess I won't see you until next season's State game"
Wtf is a wupaggie? Combination of Wolpfack and Aggie? That still doesn't make any sense. That's stupider than the old PP guys who use dUNCe and similar "clever" nicknames.

It's always good to see the Walmart nation have no clue what makes college athletics go round. Hint, it's not you buying a ticket outside the stadium to the two big games a year and running your mouth 24/7. It's guys like the one who says he has been in the Ram's club for 40 years. Same deal here with the WPC. Don't want the old timer snoozers sitting around you (?), or any others like him, pony up, otherwise get used to the fact that paying Fedora (or any coach 2 mil a year) isn't done with monopoly money.

Don't tell me BD did not have it going on and that we were not on the cusp of being where so many of us have dreamed of us being for literally decades.
BD had it going on. We were so close. If MA had not screwed up, we would be there now. Even with MA's screw up, if HT had manned up and stone walled the NCAA the way most teams do, BD would still be our coach, NCAA would have given us a slap on the wrist and we would be a top 10 team." |

lol at Miami getting hand slapped compared to UNC.
If you include miami's self imposed sanctions, Miami was banned from postseason for 2 seasons compared to unc's 1. UNC lost a few more schollies. That's hardly a hand slap compared to unc's punishment. 10/22/2013 12:46:15 PM |
