i just got a dog and i'm already dreading taking her out!

nto because i don't want to take her out - i like walking outside.

i do not HOWEVER enjoy carrying her ass back up the stairs. she is heavy. not too heavy, but heavy enough to make me struggle/hurt my back

i cannot get her back up. she won't budge. i try and try and try. and finally after standing in the stairwell for 10 minutes i give up and carry her!
