I think it's just a poorly-timed picture, or rather a still that doesn't reflect the action.

Had a play last week that'd look like a hip check in a still, but actually the forward ran over the defenseman from behind.

Let's stop the bickering and enjoy the moment. Most of us have been following this team all year long, and tonight is the biggest game in the history of this franchise. I'm still in a state of shock trying to let the reality sink in that I will be seeing the cup hoisted tonight. I couldn't afford a conference finals ticket, but when these tickets went on sale I grabbed a game 7 ticket, just in case. Well, it happened, and I've never been so excited in my life. If we bring home the Cup, then let's make this an unforgettable night. And, if not, let's not forget what this team has accomplished. It's been an incredible season, and regardless of what happens this evening, I have never been so proud to be a fan of this team.

doesn't matter, they're obviously trying to permanently injure him... not only to get him off the ice but to permanently demoralize our team...

if that happens, the Oilers franchise needs to be disbanded... not just a player suspended or banned, but everyone associated with the team...

in Hockey they always give penalties for retaliation rarely for the first hit. Edmonton has just been beating us to the punch.

Hopefully the Refs here will be calling Edmonton for those dirty checks. We have to stay out of the penalty box. We have to play our game. Game 6 was a result of us trying to play Edmontons game and that doesn't work too well. Man I can't wait til 8pm. It's only 10 am and I am already clock watching at work. He'll hit more than Vasicek ever does, and be more effective with Craig and Kevyn. I'm all for a big center to replace Weight in the lineup but unfortunately Joe isn't it. Neither is LaRose obviously but at least he'll skate fast and try to create some energy.
