He's not an "enemy combatant." He's a murderer who committed a horrible act. The more you try to treat him as a non-citizen out of rage, the easier it is for the courts to set a precedent on treating any US citizen as an "enemy combatant," and the easier it is to strip any citizen of their rights for just being accused of a crime.

While I have no doubt that this motherfucker is guilty, he is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. So until he's convicted, he should be afforded the same rights any other US citizen gets. Not just for his sake, but for our sake too.
