I go to Planet Beach at Brier Creek. I bought 10 sessions in their basic bed to use between now and the wedding for a reasonable price....I forget what exactly. http://www.planetbeach.com/Finder.aspx?C=spasbydistance&q=27615 3/23/2009 11:20:25 PM |

There are lots of places around campus. Just do a search and call around and find out who is offering free test sessions. Then hit em up one by one.
If you wanna go often, pick the one you liked the best from your tanning tour.

Also, where did you find those old navy green sandals? Are they from last season? I like the circles, the one on the website has squares and I don't like them nearly as much. 3/24/2009 12:32:05 AM |

i started using this a few days ago and have determined that it is crack for skin. My skin looks so much better, feels softer, and it actually leaves mate finish. Magic wonder juice <3

Ok ladies, I have some questions...
I just got these two skirts:
I got this shirt to go with them but it's pretty see thru so I'm returning it
Should I continue to look for a yellow shirt to go with the skirts or should I look for another color? I like white but I tend to spill things on myself EVERY TIME I wear a white shirt. What other colors would look well with these skirts?
and do you like this:

^you have to be pretty bold to pull off yellow with the bright blue and pink, but some people can do that. i really like the first yellow shirt - what about just layering a thin camisole underneath? i'm not so much in love wth the second shirt. otherwise, you could do neutrals like different shades of grey or brown, or you could do some sort of print. 3/25/2009 4:25:56 PM |

so you are thinking something like this:

i like the yellow and pink and i like the yellow top -- you could maybe put a cami under it and it would be less sheer. the only thing i don't like is flowy tops with short flowy skirts it like the yellow shirt looks too long for the skirt. if it was shorter? or it could be the picture because you are kneeling in the last one and it doesn't look as long in the first two. so i really just typed this all out for nothing
the yellow shirt would look way cute with dark jeans and a white cami though (for underneath). 3/25/2009 7:04:58 PM |

oh yea! i see it now. for some reason i was dumb and thought it was just a black bra at first. i think black probably works too though--black and yellow like a bee!! but since it is see through kinda, maybe white would work better if you picked up one of those. i am a fan of the shirt though.
and i have several of those flowy types of skirts for summer. great to put on with just a tank or tshirt. so easy. i think almost any solid neutral color shirt could work with the skirts but you can put other colors with them too. the yellow is pretty. a green could be pretty with either color, too. even if you went a little more pastel with the top since the skirts are so bright. places like old navy/gap/jcrew/etc always have bunches of solid tees and tanks for summer time. 3/25/2009 7:22:45 PM |

keep it! it's cute. and i have to say, the pink and yellow is a very nice color combination. i say play around with what colors you wear with the skirts. but i agree with the sentiment of a less flowy top with a flowy skirt.
but the yellow shirt would be awesome with jeans, and if it's thin enough that it's see-through-ish, you're not adding that much heat by wearing a camisole (thinking about during the summer months). 3/25/2009 9:25:17 PM |

that's something i'd see at dsw, swoon over then put back because i have no idea what to wear them with

also, an idea for gift giving... instead of wrapping gifts you can put them in reusable bags. chico, trader joes, target whatever. you can get them for pretty cheap.
i cant remember the last time i took groceries home in a plastic bag... i have 4 different reusables i wear the shit out of!! go planet!

I don't know if I should be disturbed by this or not - I guess since you just look at the username, and don't see me gendering myself in a post...eh!
And man, I just realized the heels are 4". I'm gonna be 6'2" walking around - yipes!
I picked up a polypropylene bag that I really liked from Kohl's (I've been meaning to look for some reusable bags) - it folds up and clips into a nice compact square shape. Has much more room than I thought it did when I used it the first time (fit three new towels, two hand towels, two washclothes and some tights easy-peesy!).3/26/2009 12:16:20 AM |

can anyone suggest an antipersperant that actually keeps you dry ...
I've always sweated excessively but for once I care. I'm teaching now and all the walking/nerves/warm room result in profuse sweating. I'd rather not have huge underarm sweat circles in front of the class. I've tried several brands with the highest percentage of "active ingredient" (aluminum something?) and no success yet. 3/28/2009 11:03:21 AM |

^^ Have you tried Certain Dri? I have the same issue and it hasn't worked for me, but some other people I have talked to said it's been great for them. And I also find that switching to a new kind of deodorant helps kind of, because each one seems to work well for a little while, but then the effectiveness wears off pretty fast. I'm tired of having like 27 half-used things of deodorant all the time. I think I googled it one time and someone said the Tom's of Maine kind was what they swore by. But of course someone else said the crystal kind was amazing, and that didn't do jack for me ... 3/28/2009 1:59:59 PM |
