Well, at the start of the series he was talking on Sportscenter and said that he picked Carolina but only because he can't be seen in Canada on ESPN so picking Edmonton does him no good. Melrose picking Edmonton is a blessing... the mullet brings a curse.

So I heard that the reason that we had that slow ass pass in game 5 was due to hooking that wasnt called and we should have had a 5-3 powerplay because of it.

This might have been mentioned way back in the thread.

game 5 was an OT loss, it wasnt good, it wasnt a choke

game 6 was a horrible loss, but not a choke.

game 7 should be close, the cames have been in dire straits before, and they have not choked. if we lose by more then 2 goals, then yea, this series can be called a choke.

what worries me is that they played so piss fucking poor in the last game. i'm not sure how they are going to react to that performance. hopefully it was just one of those nights and not indicative of how worn down they might be.

1. it was an away game, the team clearly wants to win the cup at home.
2. the oil play great at home
3. the refs ass fucked us, the league wanted 7 games
4. weight was out
5. cole was getting acclimated

there are plenty of reasons why that game was a fuck up
