I see a ton of AK74us with a super high sensitivity setting and I don't understand how they are that good. I use mid-high sensitivity setting, anything over that and I am garbage.... but I guess I mostly fight from a distance with my G11

For assault rifle I use the G11 or the enfield, the M16 seems really weak, the famas and AUG blow through clips too fast, and the commando was a disappointment. But 9 times out of 10 I keep the stoner 63, once you get used to the kick that thing is a blast, I am more accurate with it that the sniper rifles, and the mag extends to 60 rounds.

I NEVER use SMGs or pistols for that matter, but I'm no hardcore achievement hound gamer.

74U is the only one that can compete with the assault rifles. i was tearing people up with it using steady aim and dual mags last night. i was using a 3 sensitivity.

M16 with ACOG is a beast. Use it on the bigger (longer) maps. Thank me later.

I am getting used to the commando AR, nice that it can be suppressed (camping!), but it doesn't seem to have the long range knockdown of my stoner LMG.

good news about prestiging: you get a new custom weapon class (if its your 1st time prestiging, or 3rd, 5th, etc), and you will be like "wow the MP5 isn't as bad as I remember"

bad news about prestiging: you lose all your pro perks (and perks period), all your weapons (except for default classes), killstreaks, etc

i feel weird having completely skipped this installment. I've been playing MW2 for about 2 weeks trying to shake the dust off my game before 3 is released. I'm struggling to best anything more than 2:1 ratios. My map skills are lacking.

I have been messing with combat training, it is hilarious to set up a 1 vs 11 match with the AI set to private, 30 minutes, 30000 points. On jungle I managed 259 kills with a 20something ratio, it was rad.

My buddy and I do a 2 vs. 9 combat training on Nuketown.

We play this map over and over and over again while getting drunk. It's fun to rack up 200+ kills haha

^^yeah but by camping one of the houses...the hardest level enemies get a bead on you and kill you within 2 seconds if you're off your game at all, their aim is incredible

and on Firing Range the hardest level enemies climb the ladder into the tower!
