What about this one (PPR):
Santonio Holmes vs. Bears- he's got turf toe, Sanchez throwing shoulder is hurt and playing the Bears Mike Thomas vs. Skins - usually pretty consistent for 10 points; Redskins pass D sucks
Leaning towards Thomas but it's hard to bench Holmes. Thoughts? 12/23/2010 11:00:14 AM |

i have played holmes the past couple weeks and he hasn't produced. figured he would show up against the steelers but didn't. i would go with thomas.
this has been the question of the year for me, and i have constantly made the wrong call, but now it is in the championship game. holmes and percy are options here as well, but i didn't list them.

If Joe Webb is currently in my W/R/T flex and he ends up starting for Favre, will yahoo autobench him? or will his status remain (QB,WR)?
Also, my last matchup I was up by 8 points with only Vikings left and my opponent was done so I benched the D. Last night it was brought up in conversation and the general consensus was that it was a dirty move? How was that anything from textbook? 12/23/2010 1:43:27 PM |

^Nothing wrong with it unless they thought you were rubbing the victory in the guy's face. Either way who cares.
^^ I'd check the waiver wire before starting Johnny Knox against the Jets or Jacoby Jones in the championship game. Granted, I haven't paid attention to Jones in weeks, so maybe he turned things around....

I won the regular season championship and am in the championship in the league i am in.
So far, Mendenhall, Wallace and the Pitt D has me 31 pts and a good start .
Question: Rivers vs Cincy or Vick vs Minnesota?
Vick has out done rivers point wise for the last few weeks....but i'm just waiting for him to get hurt or have a bad game where as Rivers has been very consistent all season so I know what I'm going to get from him.....therefore im inclined to stick with Rivers and what got me here. 12/23/2010 9:48:01 PM |

Woodhead is the safer option, but Jackson has more big game potential. If the rest of your team looks strong enough, I'd take a chance on Jackson.
If Rashad Jennings gets the start against WAS, do I start him in place of Hillis vs BAL? Teams are really starting to zero in on him.

I think you gotta go with Sproles IF MJD doesnt play
pick 2 RB (non-ppr):
Lesean McCoy vs. Min Legarrette Blount vs. Sea Rashad Jennings vs. Wash
leaning towards McCoy and Rashad if MJD cant go, but Blount has looked really good lately. Jennings is projected to get something like 18 fantasy points this week
also, pick 1 RB (non-ppr):
Matt Forte vs. NYJ Rashad Jennings vs. Wash 12/24/2010 7:19:56 PM |

I would go with Flacco, the Ravens still have a lot to play for and their offense looked really good last week
Fitzpatrick could be a good play as well since they will likely be playing from behind all game, but the Patriots defense is pretty good.
They could very well put up similar numbers this week, but I would go with Flacco 12/24/2010 7:58:45 PM |

how scared should I be of the Jets defense? I just switched in Mike Thomas (jax) for Johnny Knox, but I'm having a hard time telling myself that was the right decision. Return yards count, so Thomas is good for at least a couple of points there. But he gets looks behind Sim's Walker and Marcedes Lewis (who I'm also starting). Blah, I hate over thinking things... 12/25/2010 10:51:36 AM |

^Jets D has been average recently. They could still bounce back since Cutler still likes throwing, and it should be snowing in Chicago. Might be a low scoring game anyways, so I'd probably take Thomas too
For my WR, need 3:
Braylon @ Chi Britt @ KC Andre Johnson (questionable, looking like out) @ Den Ochocinco (questionable, looking like in) vs SD Eddie Royal (probable) vs Hou Hester vs NYJ
Obviously I'd start Andre if I could, but it looks like I can't. Braylon's playing in the snow, might not be too great, but that leaves my WR pretty thin. Hester was good in the snow last week, but so far about the only one I'm sure of is Kenny Britt. Any thoughts? 12/25/2010 11:25:24 AM |

^^hopefully Jennings will do well.
I'm playing for the championship and have just lost Andre Johnson and MJD.
So now
pick two:
Ronnie Brown Rashad Jennings Ryan Torain
Pick one:
Percy Harvin Jacoby Jones
..I'm leaning toward Jennings/Torain and Harvin.
Also, Rivers or Schaub this weekend? analysts say Schaub but he seems less consistent than Rivers

I'd go with rivers, and I like your RB decisions. do return yds count? Because with Johnson out, Jacoby Jones is a sneaky pick (I'm playing him). I think him and walter will have a big game, and don't trust Webb enough to say play harvin over Jones 12/26/2010 8:09:10 AM |

I seriously have a life-altering decision to make:
Adrian Peterson @ Philly Jamaal Charles vs Tennessee
this is the difference between $$$ or $ 12/26/2010 9:48:03 AM |
MOODY All American 9700 Posts user info edit post |
^I'd go Charles. He's been consistent all year and isn't injured. Minnesota may get down big against Philly and be forced to throw.
What about:
Percy Harvin
or
Jacoby Ford
I see above that Ford was recommended, but Harvin still had looks with Webb. I'm having a tough time choosing between these two.

Webb has a huge arm and I guarantee they take a few shots 40+ yards down the field
and....
they were in love with the bubble screen and the quick slant last week against the Bears.
so....
Harvin seems like a no-brainer 12/26/2010 9:59:26 AM |

jacoby ford is a good choice too because he returns and runs the ball sometimes (got a 75yd td rushing last week) and is one of the prime targets in the air. He is like Cribbs was when he was doing his thing 2 years ago and last year, except on a better team 12/26/2010 10:45:11 AM |
