My homeless, street kid cousin is "camping" in downtown Orlando tonight. I want to offer him a place to stay, but my roommate might flip if she comes home to tattooed, carnie, homeless, smelly boys in the living room. So I dropped him off at the bus stop, gave him a twenty and told him "Merry Xmas".

Somehow I find some visceral enjoyment in the last-minute rush to get some important bit of homework done. The working itself sucks, but there are some positive things to be said for skirting the edge of disaster.

From an objective and reasonable perspective, this feeling is probably not a good thing at all.

I thrive on this pressure. I almost always do really well working at the last minute, but I do sometimes wonder if I couldn't somehow do even better working ahead. But it's so much less fun.

I'm a little over 6'6", and I even enjoy flying coach. There's nothing about the air travel experience I don't like.

^^i didn't have a lot; probably 40 songs. most of my faves are nat king cole, bing crosby, sinatra, james brown, ella fitzgerald, etc...then I had bing & bowie, wings, waitresses, springsteen, lennon & yoko. to me those are all very bearable christmas songs.
