The fans' reactions and the university's reaction are more embarrassing than the actual misdeeds.

They don't understand that they were the only university offering fake classes and grade changes for over a decade. They also don't understand that it's really, really bad to do that. Universities are like totally open places--you can study and research whatever pointless garbage you want...as long as you're actually doing it. Actually doing it is the only rule.

And the fact that they blamed it on the department is shameful and pathetic. They sold out their actual students in order to avoid taking responsibility for what is obviously an athletic scandal.

They're all over Greenberg because he said that UNC doesn't have the individual talent they used to and those kids are going to UK and KU now.

Truth hurts. But don't be mad at the guy for calling it how everyone without baby blue shades on sees it. There isn't a single kid on that team you can look at and definitely say that will be an NBA player.

Another extremely embarrassing point for them is that they continue to tout that those HS players that can't read and write past a 4th grade education graduated from UNC. So either their school is extremely easy or their fake classes and no show classes are letting them breeze. Either way they look stupid yet nobody is calling them out on that.
