my coworker's father passed away this weekend. he's from iran, and his family is mostly still over there. unfortunately, in his group, someone had back surgery a week ago and therefore there is no one else to cover for him while he goes to iran - so he can't go. he's stuck here and he can't go overseas to say goodbye to his father and be with his family. and it's just terrible

dude srsly. i mean, the big boss man would be just as happy letting him go. but unfortunately there are 3 day traders and a manager in that group. the manager is on vacay til the 10th and 1 trader is out with back surgery for at least another 2 weeks. so he's stuck because they have to have 2 day traders on shift through the holidays
