I was just wondering this.
I don't know what I want; I have only an orange at work. I want something super savory.
The question is whether to beg boss to get food for me if he goes out, or beg the husband for delivery of some sort, or wait til I get home.
I think I'm gonna be super cranky if I wait til I get off work ![](images/beatup.gif) 4/5/2010 5:55:47 PM

brinner, sorta
chanterelle and prosciutto omelet, topped with a fresh tomatillo salsa and shaved pecorino romano
gotta eat early tonight
in hindsight, the pecorino romano and the proscuitto make it a bit on the salty side 4/5/2010 6:18:13 PM

how do you guys get motivated enough to actually cook for yourselves?
it was easy enough when i had a boyfriend who usually ate with me, but every time i think about cooking something just for myself, i just can't see the point. 4/7/2010 8:16:39 PM

Baked Tilapia Seared asparagus.
^what's the point? It's cheaper than going out, and it's easy to do. All it takes is some planning ahead of time. I can spend like $30 -$40 in the grocery store a week, and end up with leftovers] 4/7/2010 8:17:30 PM

^^^ because i don't like microwaved meals and i'm trying not to be a fatass (and eat like pizza all the time or bojangles)
so the only choice is cook.
but usually it is easy stuff like chicken breast + salad or soup + salad or just a salad. it gets boring. 4/7/2010 8:19:57 PM

other than that, i might occasionally go out to dinner with people once or twice a week
come to think of it, lunch is all i eat most days ![](images/beatup.gif)
according to mint.com, i spend an average of $22/week on food.

Do you... like... steal other people's food?
$40 would be spending less than $6 for an entire day. But as it pertains to this thread, less than $6 for dinner. If you're doing that, you're doing pretty well I guess. 4/7/2010 8:28:06 PM

For me:
Breakfast: Bagel, 2 apples, milk, water (almost every day) Lunch: Whatever I grab at the cafeteria at work Dinner: Whatever I'm cooking that night at home.
I don't really snack throughout the day. 4/7/2010 8:30:55 PM
