I wasn't there, so I have no idea if anything was wrong or not. Everyone I talked to raved about the show. My point about stage volume is that often sound problems in small venues are out of the control of the sound crew.

Jaegermeister is a hell of a drug.

I only saw the war on drugs at tnn during hopscotch 2010, so even if they were up there playing with jugs and cardboard boxes it would've sounded better than my experience. I do feel like it's a band that tries to overpower eCh other though, and maybe that's the underlying problem. Don't feel the need to reiterate anything I've said, however.

saw Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit last night in Charlotte. It was a great show but Browan Lollar, the other guitarist, recently walked away from the group so Jason was forced to carry the guitar section all on his own so that limited the amount of soloing and what not. But it was still a good show.
