Couldn't even do him the decency of putting a bullet to his head. and all that after we finally see Merle's conscience clear and really consider what Darryl told him. granted he still took Michonne but in the end, let her go." |
i'm not surprised at all. he was just his henchman. the governor doesn't give a shit about anybody else. i felt like he let merle become a walker bc he knew daryl would probably come after him.3/26/2013 11:48:04 AM |

do you guys think it was merles plan all along for the ruse, or did michonne influence him? especially with all the talk about darryls "new family?" 3/26/2013 12:55:56 PM |

Michonne did.
no doubt.
he was all in for stopping the battle by giving her to the gov until she made him realize who the gov had made him become.
Darryl made him try and make the trade for the good of the group...she made him realize the gov was out for blood no matter what and it was best to go out a martyr. 3/26/2013 12:57:59 PM |

How many people is it going to piss off if they kill off Daryl this week? It is pretty much set up if they want to do it. He is overly emotional after seeing his brother as a walker and having to kill him and knows exactly who caused him to turn. There is clearly a fight coming up with that group. It is set up to have him try to get revenge, get killed, and Tyrese will help the prison group and become Rick's new number 2. 3/27/2013 7:25:00 AM |

it's certainly plausible but i think with Darryl being such a fan-favorite, they would be asking for a revolt of the fanbase if they killed him off lol. 3/27/2013 7:42:56 AM |

I hope the writers understand that I bet they'd lose at LEAST 1/4th of their viewers if they killed Daryl off, and that's a low-ball estimate. Every time I casually talk about the show to people, almost every single female goes "If they ever kill of Daryl I'm done with that show, he's so great."
Hell I'd find it hard to watch if they lost Daryl and it meant more screen-time for Andrea. 3/27/2013 8:10:55 AM |

I dont know about you guys, but I have a feeling that Rick and Co. are going to leave the prison just before the Woodbury posse invades. Rick and Co. will set some traps and take out a few of the Woodbury people, but the season will end with the Governor still alive and more pissed off than ever that Rick got one over on him, and the prison crew will be on the road again. 3/27/2013 8:52:39 AM |

I seriously doubt this. They have shown too many shots of people loading, cleaning and placing guns and trying to fortify areas of the prison. They are definitely building toward a battle where neither sides wants to give any ground.3/27/2013 10:07:53 AM |

that's just a red herring.
they are preparing to set up a trap for the governor, and when he arrives to an empty prison he'll look up at the sky and yell "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" as a horde of walkers pounce upon him. 3/27/2013 10:33:56 AM |

Rick's group abandons the prison right before the Woodbury militia gets there. They make their way south to FL and setup camp at zombie Disney World. Season 4 is spent clearing the Magic Kingdom of zombies, leading up to a S4 cliffhanger battle on Splash Mountain. Disney makes a killing on merchandising. 3/27/2013 7:38:44 PM |

Way too many commercials...
They wasted too much time dragging out the andrea scene...we all knew what would happen...she'd keep fumbling around and he would finally turn...then she has mere seconds to free herself..etc... boring.
The attack on the prison and everything else was great...but too much time spent on andrea's stuff. 3/31/2013 9:52:39 PM |

wait...did we just miss a few scenes?
Last I remember, they were on the street in daylight with the chick in the truck...all of a sudden it is night and they are creeping up on woodbury.
and last we saw Tyree, he told the chick "i'm going to check something" while they were arguing whose turn it was.... what ever happened to that? All of a sudden it is night and they are on the wall together.

then nothing even comes of it?

The black lady on talking dead has a good point...
Andrea was stalling way too much getting those pliers... i mean, i know it is a TV show, but EVERYONE would be urgently trying to get those pliers and she is just speaking with milton like she has all day
And i totally agree they took out some scenes b/c it didn't flow at all. they left major gaps...i still wanna know what tyree was going to check on

Quote : | " They made the scene with Tyree and that chick seem like something big, "It's my turn!, no wait I gotta go do something"" |
yeah what was up with that...
other problems
-There was a fucking 5 minute commercial break from 9:50-9:55. -Andrea bullshitted way to long on film -Why didn't Rick and Co. migrate to Woodbury instead of bringing all the children and women to the prison. - The governor unloads on his army and not a single one of them managed to take a shot? Also thought it was ridiculous that the one guy stood there with his gun on the governor and was to fucking too slow to shoot him before the governor raised his gun, aimed, and shot him in the head.3/31/2013 10:42:28 PM |
