I think part of it is me just being a cynical jerk seeing these places where people are getting wasted on Miller Light and Jaegerbombs and thinking "wow, glad that's not me ever again."

Rum Runners is 21 and up, so there are no 18 year olds there. I enjoy going there two, or three times a year at most. It is the same show every time, so it gets boring if you go a lot. I don't know anything about the other places though. I generally only go to tap rooms and never dance clubs.

Nightlife photography is only cool if you are doing it for a special event in which hot chicks go. The problem with Raleigh, there are no good events and most nightlife photographers are hacks with P&S.
