I bought this back in Feb. and it is extremely entertaining. I dunno what it is, but it's a lot of fun and pretty to look at. Probably put 40hrs into it in a few weeks. However, replay isn't that great for me. I'd pick it up used since it is probably under $30.

I'm on my 3rd console now

This one I bought new though so it has a warranty. The first one lasted launch to summer of last year. #2 lasted from last summer to last month. Hopefully this one will last til I stop playing.

Well, it's taken a while to get all of the hardware I needed, but I finally managed to play Halo 3 with a keyboard and mouse this evening. And not with that craptacular XFPS, but with another marvelous idea called XIM. XFPS + SJF is decent, at best, but not even remotely as good as XIM. Being able to play it with my PC wireless mouse and MERC keyboard really makes a huge difference. This works so well with Halo that I can hardly wait for Call of Duty now.

Oh for fuck's sake. I've had this piece of shit for 6 months and I hardly even use it and this will be the 2nd time I've had to send it back in. First, for the red ring of death... now my drive is making a grinding noise and the discs are unreadable.

I got it and here is my 2cents.
+ great graphics and aircraft/weapon selection. Decent decent maps and some challenging misions on hard.
- Nothing too new to add from AC5, and its gets somewhat repetitive/old in that all the missions end up the same.. shooting shit down or dropping bombs.

Overall, Its fun, almost worth the 60 bones, but a great pickup if you get it used for 40 bucks.

I am very annoyed by the lack of multiplayer stats in Ace Combat. I want to know how many kills I had, how many shots fired, how many hits, etc. I have seen some fairly talented dogfighting teams which used good strategy, but none of that really shows through when all you get to see is a score at the end of a match.

On another note, I finally beat Dead Rising a few days ago. Whereas the game was brilliant through the first 72 hours (well, aside from killing Jessie), Overtime mode was a huge letdown. The ending was so stupid, and almost insulting that all you get to see is a text explanation of what happened.
