I really don't think this has any impact on whether he'll turn pro...I'm sure his BA will improve since he will be able to focus on baseball but I highly doubt it will improve enough to make him turn pro early.

Keenan Allen's brother, Zach Maynard, is transferring from Buffalo. He started at QB as a true soph last year for them and did alright. Clemson is the heavy favorite to land him but we're supposedly taking a look as well

When was that? I think prior to his brother wanting to transfer, there was no reason he'd go somewhere other than Alabama. I think with his brother wanting to transfer and his mom wanting them to be closer to home, it's going to be Clemson or State. Hopefully State, seeing as it's much closer to GSO than Clemson.

theres a rumor cycling that hes taking these visits with his brother to get maynard a scholarship from a bigger school and that he still plans on going to Alabama.

BUT, who knows.....maybe we get him on campus and something just clicks. Would be the biggest recruiting coup we've ever pulled off.

I think all scholarship offers would be contingent on Allen also joining the program. I mean we could use a QB for sure, but I don't think we'd offer Maynard unless it was a package deal, same with Clemson.

Carolina has a bunch of young receivers who are gonna be there for the next couple years.

While our receiving corp is definitly better, they are mostly upper classmen gettin ready to gradumuhtate.

You'd think state was a better option, alot of starting wideouts gonna be gone after next year...
