Yeah Fry it's an RPG and that's an amazing bit of combat for an RPG. It looks like a freaking action game, the graphics are amazing, models impressive, sounds great - I mean it's fantastic. Sorry you're not into it but it sounds like you are aren't really used to games of this ilk or close....give it at try.

^^ i've played a couple and will probably dl a demo of this and check it out, i don't mean to diss it in this thread i was jw if there was anything brand spankin new.. it does look pretty dang nice though

RPG-wise i was all over some FF back in the day but it kinna faded. i guess the older i got the more action i needed to stay with a game or somethin. i wanted to break out FF8 the other day though. that is quite a bit of action for one i'd have to agree.

^ i wish all game content was free too... but... devs and such gotta make the $ i guess

btw, just a warning to anyone that still plays Guitar Hero II: if you can help it, do NOT delete or rename any of your career bands. there's a chance it will corrupt your gamesave.

my roommate's gf was playing on my xbox and she deleted her band. that night I went to play and it froze when it tried loading my GHII save. i had to delete the corrupted save and start over from scratch...

MS just sent me back a replacement 360. The manufactured date is August of 2006, so I hope this one lasts longer. The previous one I had was made before the launch date. Also, my router died yesterday, so now, it's either my computer or my 360. I'll interchange them until I get a new router that won't die.

BTW, the router was a Linksys Wireless-G 2.4 GHz Broadband Router. Model WRT546. I think it had some sort of defect anyway. Real P.O.S. if you ask me, but hey, I got a 360 back and a free month of Live, so I'm happy for the most part.

if you have tried everything that you can think of to network your c and 360 to stream music/video without using the shitty media center interface, but rather the music and video tabs in the media blade from the 360 dash board, open media player 11, in the 'library' tab click 'media sharing' then the rest is obvious.

Yeha dude, the Windows Media Connect functionality is built into WMP11. Alternatively, you can just run Windows Media Connect 2 and it will share with the 360. The latter doesn't require legit Windows.

9.5/10...id love for it to be perfect but there's just a couple very very tiny things

but however, i do think it was the best and greatest single player campaign i've ever played...

it was just so intense and sucks you into the story

COD4 is off the fucking chain...I got it in the mail from Gamefly on Saturday and beat it on Regular...man there is some cool shit...the gunship missions where you use the thermal imaging cameras and blast ground targets...the ghilley suit sniper mission where you're creeping around Chernobyl...the one shot one kill mission where you get to blast at somebody from about a mile away with the Barrett .50

game is dope as fuck

I could keep playing the first 30 seconds of the "One Shot One Kill" mission forever...I think if they made a game where you just shot random shit with a Barrett .50 (M82A1) I'd buy it...cause I have a Barrett but those rounds are expensive...and you need at least a few hundred yards

no multiplayer yet...just got it on saturday, beat single player, and yesterday was filled with getting fucked up and going to panthers and bobcats games

somebody sent me a game invite on saturday during single player and i accepted it but had some error connecting...i'll try it sometime this week

^I think that happens if the person that invited you decided not to wait and joined a game before you could accept the invite. Happened to me once also and when I checked their status it said they were in a game.

Fuck 4 controllers, the screen gets too small when its split into quadrants, even on a big TV. I don't even like the split screen shit...I mainly play 2 players in sports games where its all on one screen anyway.
