Yea I was wondering where they got the 8 miles from myself. We like to go wander around Duke Gardens sometimes, so I knew it had to be longer than 8, so I mapped it and got 10.8 as well.

I must say I think its funny that the people are saying "WTH a Republican Governor that wants the state in even more of our business?" But my response is, the state is already involved in it. It was a public school that was pushing to have the UNC/Duke game. The private school said no. Due to the UNC system and NCHSAA, a lot of these sporting events are being held by state funded programs. So like it or not, we should be involved in people making the best choice for everybody to be safe.

Public safety is somewhat important. So you do want to warn people that the roads are blocked. But snow games are great. People who otherwise would never have a chance to see a Duke/Chapel Hill match-up--or maybe any game for that matter--get to walk six miles in the snow and have a blast. It's fantastic.

I thought that Zana dude was clearly fouled there in the end. I mean, they needed three, but there were other options had he gone to the foul line. And it essentially ended the game.
