well, it happened.

for the first time in a long time, i've produced a dinner that's just inedible.

a whole, like, 2 lb rainbow trout, stuffed and coated with sliced fennel and lemon

tried to steam/bake in parchment, but the cooking consistency was terrible, couldnt get it cooked in the middle without being dry near the skin, the skin was soggy and just not appealing at all.

the fennel and the lemon cooked well together, but there's no sense in just pulling that out of the fish.

back to pan cooking and grilling fish exclusively i go


just had the temperature balance all way off.
