I think the blast doors came down because of the Peanut Butta dropship


and they subsequently went back up when the PB shipment was settled





the idea is that whomever was in the hatch wouldn't mess with whomever was dropping the shit off, and vice versa


thus leading back to the old but yet un-affirmed idea that the entire island is a social experiment of the grandest scale

the place in the middle of the map could be the place they took claire..headquarters, or whatever...

also, i'm still not convinced the captive is an "other"... so he found henry gale and killed him and buried him...
that doesn't prove he is an other. maybe he is someone working against the others or something...something is still fishy about that guy

i went back and looked at the drawing on the door. there are four boxes labeled CVI, CVII, CVIII, CVIV (cv could stand for something or just be the roman number 105)
